Anzac day , an Altered notebook and pretty little things to add to my wishlist

Today we honour our soldiers, those who have laid down their lives in the sake of freedom, let us not forget their sacrifices that they have made on our behalf, to the fallen, our soldiers today and to those who are to come we honour you this day, you are not forgotten but always remembered in our hearts.

Good Morning everyone,
Well last night I waited for layers to dry on my altered notebook so I could add the final touches and add another layer to it, but yes it’s now finally finished..
After about 5 hours of being in my own little world hubby pulled me aside and said do you realize you have ignored everyone for pretty much half the day, hmmmm hello I was working. Now just because he has trouble doing two things at once dosen’t mean I can’t lol, after countless requests to put on this, get something out of the fridge for the little ones and of course make dinner I finally finished my notebook.
And I like it I loved putting this together for it I used a few napkins, a piece of K and Co paper although you can’t see it on their now, material’s x 3, buttons, tickets, filmstrip, tiny beads, perfect pearls, little flowers, and contact transfer’s.

I’m already starting to look out for items for The Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue swap over at A swap for all season’s hmmm wonder who will be my partner this time around…….
Found this website with some beautiful treasures and trinkets its called http://www.cherishedbride.com/  it has vintage albums, accessories and even gift paper so I’m sure I’m going to find something in their to add to my swap.

I’ve also found a couple new stores to shop at I like this one it has some lovely little things perfect for swaps and just for creating http://www.etsy.com/shop/JunqueArt and http://www.etsy.com/shop/32NorthSupplies and this one has some lovely items for mixed media http://www.retrocafeart.com/category_49/SHRINE-KITS.htm

And this is something that I would love to have a go at making it's a beautiful choker now this one is just stunning I could actually see that on my neck.

I found that choker at Vintage Glitterati these can be made custom ordered for you so I think I will get one made up for me here is the link this store is a treasure's cove of just truly beautiful  things http://www.vintageglitterati.com/queenlytreasures.aspx
