Hmmmmm I think I want to be lost in Austen

Have you had one of those day's when you've ordered something in the post and you just want it be here already well that's what I'm having today I'm out stalking my postie this morning as my order from Maxine's Melange should be rocking up today so I am so not going out until it's delivered into my eager waiting hand's......
At the moment life is filled with tearaway children arguing over who can play this on a gaming console or watch that on tv, the endless hands out for cash to feed their takeaway addiction ,one half are addicted to sushi and the other half to subway and music belting out of our garage till wee hours of the morning courtesy of eldest teen who ignores the pleas of dad too turn that crap off lol.....
I haven't been able to do much of anything except work on my swaps I've made a few more tags but still waiting on things to finish them all up, today I'm going to try the rusting technique going to start small and just do some safety pins as I have too many in silver and I want them to look ancient, then I'm going to start working on my kings and queens matchbox swap that were doing over at my little forum..... The girls have all got the jump on me and have them nearly all done, so gotta get started and get them done......
On Monday catching up with my favourite girl Ann hopefully we can hit the scrapping store as well as I know she needs some more prima lol..... So the kids are all excited already.....

Well you all know that I love Marie Antoinette did you know you can get an action figure of her well I didn't until today when I googled her name lol
And look at these gorgeous Marie inspired wigs made out of plastic wrap by designer Kate Cusack how awesome are they now wouldn't you be the belle of the ball at a fancy dress party.....
Okay I'm not really a barbie girl but this Marie doll barbie style looks gorgeous her dress is just gorgeous how could not want one  but I think this one looks pretty fab as well Our last Tudor queen Queen Elizabeth I
And of course a girls always needs a pair of high heeled shoes look no further than these gorgeous beauties by Christian Louboutin And for your viewing pleasure what about this dvd Marie Antionette starring Norma Shearer and Tyrone Power
Now this movie was made in the 1930's with a massive budget of 2 million dollars it was one of the most expensive movies to be made in that time, also the first time any movie was filmed onset at Palace of Versailles, see you learn something new everyday.....
And for your reading pleasure what about one of the books below.....

Well onto beautiful images to collect over at Magic Moonlight free images there are four lovely sepia images to be found I love these two the most  think I'm going to have use that first image on a tag or make a bookmark or something it's just too lovely.....
Now I'm off to do some housework and get my unruly lot cleaning their rooms, and I'm putting earplugs in my ears so I don't hear them all whine and complain later ladies......

Hi Maria,

Your place here is so gorgeous. I enjoyed your post, especially the bits about your children and life in general.

Your pieces are gorgeous! You are a talented lady. I love Marie too. The images of the elaborate hair are incredible! Isn't it amazing what artists think of to express their creativity.

Have you read any of the Marie books? I have yet to do so but I'll bet they would answer many of the questions I have.

Sending fairy wishes to you and your muse for a blissful afternoon at least I think it is afternoon there right now. (tee hee :)

Cheers! =D
