Cover for my Art Journal

Okay after days of procrastinating I started my Art Diary today, I didn't use the Heidi Swapp cards mainly because I couldn't bear to have them all covered so the other week I brought a pack of kraft cardstock already cut and decided to use my bind it all to make up my album....
I've just used some music paper, a piece of cream wallpaper and then added a vellum quote onto it, then I have inked and used some texture paste on it, stuck my alphas, buttons on and inked over it to bring it out abit....

Then I have added some embellishments from my matchbox swap with Toni, I have a black key, the flower centre and a little bead on my pin, I've been waiting for the right project to use these items, so thanks Toni...
This is really all that I have done all day except read, the book I'm reading right now is one by Mary Higgin's Clark called "You Belong to Me" so that has kept me entertained...
I can honestly say I am counting down the days until school starts back up, what with us moving in late November our kids will have been on holidays for 9 weeks and that is just way too long for my liking, hello there like always hungry, its like a never ending queue to the fridge or the loo in our house...
Well got a whining child crying out for me, looks like it's bedtime for the monster in my house, so going to put him to bed.....
