Just a short post, today's layout

Now seeing as I got those new goodies the other day I wanted to use abit of my new stash on this layout of Drew, I've used one of  the flower notecards and cut out the image, my journalling slides up held up by a piece of acetate, then I have enclosed a little mini envelope which I have used distress inks and just a touch of crackle paint over it to give it abit of rustic feel at the bottom this hold's his first lock of hair.....
I've also used a piece from a doily and two of the new laces that I got....
My title says Sweet Sweet boy of mine, I just noticed that my one side of my bow covers the end of my title....
Hope your all having a great night has anyone scrapped anything today?

Back again thought I would just add to this post instead of starting another new one, thanks Lou I didn't realize I had won at Badgirls for the inspiration layout so thanks for mentioning it to me this morning.
Here are the new challenges just up over at Badgirls
NO papers challenge:
This monday I'd like to encourage you to create a layout with no papers... well, almost no papers - you can have a paper or cardboard background of course. Instead of papers you may use whatever you want - paint, inks, ribbons, laces, foil - let your creativity flow!!!Every person playing in the scrap lottery challenge has to include all the obligatory elements in her work... next time we'll choose next 5 random numbers and so the challenge will coninue!

Scrap Lottery Challenge
So here it goes - Scrap Lottery - edition I:
in your layout you have to include:
-yellow colour
- red colour
- circles (any type you want
- handmade journaling
- hearts of any type

Of course you can add as many extra elements as you want, but here is the obligatory part!Here are the steps:
1. Create a project (layout, card, mixedmedia creation, ATC etc.)Have fun with creating!
2. Upload the photo to the Bad girls Gallery and in the forum thread before the end of 5 April2010. Comment about the project and explain us what did you use
3. Send some love to other ladies participating - comment on their creations and recieve some love from them!
After 5 April the best projects will be chosen, announced - and they will be published on the Bad Girls Blog.

And this is the latest challenge for Project 52
3~D Homes: - {paper, board, fabric, box, metal etc. Any material choice.
All sides must be considered, Art in the round!!}

THEME: Dreams {past/present/future, actualized or not, night/day etc.}
REQUIRED MATERIAL: Buttons {any type/shape/size/number/color/material}

Now I'm still in love with Alice in Wonderland especially the costumes and found these patterns online
I think the last one looks more like a costume from the Tudor times I so wish I could sew........
