What's on your workdesk Wednesday

It's been a busy week since last Wednesday I've been non stop crafting pretty much the whole weekend, it's been a joy to actually get some work done and get in the creative spirit...
My son Maxwell went into hospital for a day surgery yesterday so my husband went in with him this time, it was a long long day for him he wasn't scared at all just frustrated that he couldn't eat or drink before his surgery, and he had to wait until after 2 in the afternoon for that to happen...
Thankfully he was able to be in the children's ward so he got to play on the playstation, the boy next to him who was the same age was playing with a spray can and matches and his legs were burnt pretty badly so he was waiting to have skin grafts done the poor thing...
His surgery went well had a few problems after with vomiting and he stopped breathing when he was in recovery so thankfully daddy the nurse was there and made sure he was okay.....
But he is home and recovering playing his P3 with his oldest brother Alex......

Monday and Wednesday brought me some happy mail from my lovely postie Odie Sir Prancelot alerted me to our postie arriving I think he thinks he is a doberman hello he is a fluffy papilion x pomeranian

So what's on my workdesk this morning for me it's pretty tidy actually yesterday I was working on my dining room table and forgot to take a photo lets just say it was all over the place lol....
So the last 2 days I have been experimenting with mouse traps to make memo holder's I have one more left so I will make that one in a girly grunge..... I had fun altering these which one do you like the best?
Well that's it for me today chores ahead of me this morning day 3 of the school holidays and they are already eating me out of house and home, but hoping today to finish off the other mouse trap, and then I want to do a bigger version hello the rat trap...
So thanks for stopping by my blog I really enjoyed reading your comments last week so thankyou....
So what's on your WOYWW.....

i'm glad your son is recovering well from his surgery! i wonder if they have Moist Exposed Burn Ointment (MEBO) over there. it is an alternative ointment from China that works so well for burns. they have started using it over here after the doctors saw the results from Chinese patients.

your desk is full of wonderful goodies and your mousetraps are amazing, so pretty! thank you so much for dropping by to visit me.

Hope Maxwell continues to recover, sounds scary that he stopped breathing! Love all your new stash, happy mail is the best. Those mousetraps are amazing. I looked at you other posts and I can't believe how creative you've managed to be in just a week! Beautiful makes, love the head dress, not so sure the doggie does though!

Hi Maree,

Yes he is feeling better today, he had bit of bleeding last night but it looks okay today, he is still walking over clutching his stomach so no rough playing for him for about a week.....

That must have been a hairy moment when your son stopped breathing. Hope he is feeling better and stronger each day.

Glad to hear your son is continuing to recover. Those mouse traps turned out cute! I have a lot of unused extra mouse traps that I got as birthday presents. I'm just glad I don't need them anymore! Thanks for dropping by my blog!

Good news about the surgery...if he's plaing P3 and can be easily distracted, I'd say that's a good sign, wishes for a speedy recovery. As for the mouse traps... I can't choose between them so I'm no help at all! They're stunning.

Hi Maria, So sorry to hear about your son's surgery and complications, but glad to know he's home and recovering now. It's so scary when our kids are sick or injured...I would rather it be me than one of my kids...and my kids are adults! It never gets easier.

I can't believe those beautiful works of art started out as mouse traps! I had to look twice! My favorite is the one on the top with all the flowers, but really they're all beautiful.
