WOYWW 178

Hello Everyone and welcome to what's on your workdesk Wednesday #178 if you want to jump on the bandwagon and join in then head on over to Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com.au/
To all who live in the US hope your safe from harm and I hope that if you are in hurricane Sandy's path that it doesn't affect you or your family... Stay safe ladies....
Once again I'm still in my making ornament making mood, I got the new Tim star bright die and had fun playing with it yesterday and today...
Even my daughter Alicia loves this die its so easy she made 40 stars for her room last night she used it so much she got blisters using my cuttlebug and yes it will go in your cuttlebug no problems...
My desk is absolute madness this morning I'm too ashamed to take a photo lol but instead will show you this weeks crafty makings an assortment of ornaments using Tim's dies and then I made a tussie mussie, but of course now my daughter wants me to make these for Xmas kind of stockings lol...
Today its been busy already by 6.30 all my groceries were delivered talk about chaos I have kids getting ready to get out the door to catch buses to high school, kids emerging from their rooms with tousled hair, hubby in his cams trying to find all the stuff he needs for work, this guy has to do a verbal checklist to make sure he has everything from his army patches to his wallet lol, he always forgets something and most of the time it's his ID to get on base or his wallet....
I have a package arriving today with three more dies oh my gosh I love love love his dies I seriously seriously have an addiction....
Just wanted to do a shout out to Tracy from My2Angels SHE IS FABULOUS!  http://www.my2angels.net/
Her online shop is so good to shop at and her prices are by far the cheapest in Australia especially ranger and Tim stuff, I was lucky I wanted a few of the new things like tissue wrap and some lanterns and Tracy ordered them in for me with no problems at all, and when you place an order it's always sent out the same day amazing service love love love.... So thanks Tracy for getting in all my stuff....

Okay so here is what came for me on Monday I have some more dies coming today but not in time for this post

Maria, your ornaments are just gorgeous... I would never want to take them down - they are far too good just for Christmas! Absolutely beautiful.

Thanks for your lovely comment, and I'm glad you like my knitting. Not having picked it up for months, it's really nice to be back into it again.

The annotated photos are fun to do, and it's something a bit different for WOYWW, isn't it! My Black Cat Cougar is an electronic cutting machine - a lot more powerful and precise than a Cricut, and it will cut, engrave, emboss and draw on many different materials. There's some info about it in the sidebar of my blog.

Happy WOYWW!

Good grief Maria
Your ornament making blows my mind every week, not only that, all those new TH dies every week also blows my mind! I can only assume your husband is the base commander!!! Sounds like you have a crafty family though.

Hugs

PS. You're 13 as I linked you! Hope you don't mind!

Maria you have made some amazing ornaments. It is not quite my style of crafting but I admire anyone who can achieve results like these. I am waiting for a parcel too. The expectation is exciting.
No cheating though. We want to see your workdesk next week, however messy it is!
have a good crafting week,

I'm sat reading my WOYWW blogs on my sick bed this week but have my mask on so you don't catch anything. I'm enjoying reading what everyone is up to this week [it's better than reading magazines :-) ]. I'm leaving a copied comment so you know I've called by because my hands are too weak and shaky to keep typing out my comments this week.
Big hugs,

Absolutely gorgeous work. My one regret with the Grand Calibur is not being able to use thick dies - when I see things like these I am consumed with regret and envy :)

Happy day-late WOYWW
